Yorkshire Portraits

Submit Your Yorkshire Portraits Photograph

To celebrate Yorkshire Day, Club Insure has announced our Yorkshire Portraits photography project

About The Project

We know how important clubs and community venues across the country are, particularly in the Yorkshire region where Club Insure was born and bred! They really are the heart of our communities.

We’re bringing together the fantastic work of photographers to develop our own photography series: Yorkshire Portraits. It will celebrate clubs and communities, and demonstrate how vital they are to our culture and society as a whole. We plan to publish this both digitally and in print, with a percentage of all sales going towards our charity partner Prostate Cancer UK.

Photography Style

Our team has already made a cracking start visiting clubs and community venues in the region. We’ve heard some inspiring stories, made new friends and brought back a portfolio of fantastic photographs that capture the spirit of these venues and the people who make them so special.

Here are just a few examples…

Ruth Saxton, Community Producer at Slung Low Theatre

Martin Mace, Belle Isle Working Men’s Club

Mandy Clayton, Selby Trades Working Men’s Club
