Grassroots Sport & Community Project Grants

Could your business, local sports club or grassroots project idea benefit from charity grants?

At Club Insure, we recognise the cultural, emotional and physical benefits of grassroots sport. We are focussed on funding projects that help clubs and community groups invest in their future.

As the cost of living impacts the potential for clubs and community groups to fund new projects, the Romero Group Charitable Trust is now offering grants to support grassroots projects.

How to Apply for a Grassroots Project Grant

To apply for the grant - ask yourself these questions:

1

IS MY PROJECT ELIGIBLE FOR FUNDING?

Grassroots Community Projects must be for the betterment of the local community in which the applicant is based. This could be related to helping facilitate the social wellbeing of vulnerable or isolated individuals, creating safe spaces or introducing opportunities for individuals to spend time focussing on their physical wellbeing.

2

Can you evidence how you plan to use the Funding?

Any applications must be able to demonstrate how the requested funds will be spent, providing itemised quotes to demonstrate where the funding will be used.

For any application, you must be able to evidence how you plan to engage the community and demonstrate the impact your project will have on your community.

3

Do I Have What's Needed To Apply?

Your project must be submitted by an applicant aged 18 or older. You must be UK based and for the benefit of UK communities. It must not be for the benefit of any one individual. You must not be used for the commercial gain of an individual or organisation.

Also, your organisation must have a bank account in its own name and have been operating for at least 12 months.

Social Clubs and Sports Clubs are an invaluable asset to their Communities.

But They Need Support and Protection.
