It has been well publicised that insurers are limiting flood cover by doing a number of things including increasing the basic policy excess on all flood covers or removing the cover altogether. We now have a product on offer to cover your Flood excess up to £50,000. This product is unique in the fact that it pays out even if your claim doesn’t exceed the excess (ground up cover), the protection only works if your policy has a flood excess applied.
