Club Insure’s new campaign, Club Champions, recognises the key people behind the success of British clubs.
Our club champions are volunteers, general managers, coaches or community welfare officers – People who have given a large part of their lives to the benefit of sports and social clubs, and members who are respected in their local community for their hard work and dedication.
Sports and social clubs exist to serve local communities, they are so important to British culture and the social welfare of individuals. But it’s the volunteers and longstanding members who are the heartbeat of these clubs, giving their time, driving on growth and development. And they should quite rightly be recognised as champions.
We also recognise the clubs who are making a significant difference through their diverse services and outreach programmes. We look at the clubs championing their sports within their community, but also regionally, nationally, and in some cases, internationally.
